New Product Alert! (plus 3 signs you should be collecting fine art prints)

This is a dream come true for me.

Selling prints of my art is something I have always wanted to do, for as long as I can remember.  It's just always been a part of the dream - the dream to sell my paintings and make art for a living. And now finally, they are here. My very first fine art prints!

I am currently offering art prints of four of the girlies from the Field of Daisies series - this is just a starting point and I can’t wait to offer more, especially as I make and release new series! They come in a few different size options, all on the smaller end for now, and there are options for framing as well! They are my first print on demand (or POD) product, which means they are made to order by an outsourced company. This is exciting because it means these particular products will always be available for you, and it frees me up to continue making more art and designing new prints and other products. I’ve ordered several batches of samples to make sure the process will work and ensure the quality of these prints, and honestly I’ve been blown away. They ship so quickly, the paper is luxuriously thick, the colors are bright and vibrant, and they do such an amazing job of capturing the essence of the original pieces. I’m in love, and so excited to get to share them with the world!

3 signs art print collecting is for you:

1. You follow a bunch of artists on social media, want to fill your home with beautiful original art, but don’t have it in the budget to purchase originals.

Art prints are a wonderful, affordable way to support artists you love, and start filling your home with things that make your heart happy. It is true: nothing replaces an original art piece, but sometimes its truly not in the budget. I don’t think your financial situation should get to keep you from enjoying art. Art prints are a wonderful answer.

2. You have your eye on a large, expensive original piece, but don’t know much about the artist yet.

Maybe you have your eye on a special painting you know would be just right for filling that empty space on your wall, but you’re wary of making a big purchase from a total stranger on the internet. As you should be! If the artist in question is offering art prints, its a great way to not only double check and make extra sure that the colors and vibe will actually match your room, but also get to know the artist a little more, see what the ordering experience is like, and make sure its someone you want to support.

3. You live in a small, impermanent space.

Perhaps this season of life finds you living in small rented spaces such as an apartment or even sharing a room with a roommate — probably not exactly the right time to splurge on a big permanent original art piece. Purchasing art prints are a great way to liven up your space! Often available in small sizes, and in better quality than posters, fine art prints are perfect for personalizing and brightening up a space you may not otherwise have much control over.

. . .

The thing I love most about art prints, and perhaps the reason behind my great desire to be able to offer them, is that they are for everybody. No matter your home size or budget or situation in life, art prints are a way for EVERYBODY to get to enjoy fine art and fill their home with it ❤️
