Art is not just for museums and galleries, hotels, and wealthy people’s mansions. Art is for everyone. Your life is actually a work of art. YOU are a work of art. Here are five ways to live with art and integrate it into your daily life:
1. Big Art on Your Wall

What do you want to say with your space? What tone do you want to set? When people walk into the room, what do you want them to feel? Big art pieces can make bold statements and transform a room entirely.
Consider investing in a large canvas painting or a striking wall mural. These pieces can serve as the focal point of your room, creating a powerful visual impact. Whether it’s an abstract piece that sparks conversation or a serene landscape that brings peace, big art can define the ambiance of your space.
2. Small Art in Nooks and Crannies

Fill up awkward, sad, empty spaces with little glimmers of art. Small pieces can add charm and character to spaces that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Think about placing small framed prints on your bookshelves, tiny sculptures on your desk, or even mini paintings in your bathroom. These small touches can bring unexpected joy and surprise, making every corner of your home feel thoughtfully curated and loved.
3. Wearable Art

This is a fun one! It is on my bucket list to make t-shirts or fabrics with my art on them because I think it would be so fun. Wearable art allows you to carry a piece of creativity with you wherever you go.
Imagine wearing a scarf adorned with a print of your favorite painting or a pair of shoes featuring a unique design. Wearable art is a fantastic way to express your individuality and start conversations. It’s a mobile gallery that you can showcase to the world, blending fashion with fine art.
4. Stickers

One of my absolute favorite things to collect. There’s something about the act of collecting that really appeals to us humans, as well as self-expression, representing things/brands/icons/people we love, keeping track, and maybe boasting a little about places we’ve been. Stickers do it all!
Stickers are versatile and can be used to personalize almost anything—from laptops and water bottles to notebooks and phone cases. They are a fun, affordable way to bring art into your everyday items. Plus, collecting stickers from different artists or places can become a delightful hobby that reflects your journey and passions.
I'm so excited that I have just released my own art sticker collection!!
5. Everyday Items as Art

There’s something about supporting artisans and craftspeople who pour all their love and skill into crafting beautiful items intended for everyday use. Handmade pottery, carved wooden spoons, handcrafted furniture, and handwoven rugs. I believe that art is anything created with the intention of amplifying or capturing Beauty, and I think it’s wonderful to fill a home with items crafted with love for beauty and function.
Everyday items made with artistic intent can elevate your daily routines. Drinking from a beautifully crafted mug or using a hand-carved cutting board can make ordinary moments feel special. These pieces not only serve a functional purpose but also bring a sense of connection to the artist who made them, enriching your life with their story and craftsmanship.
. . .
Remember, integrating art into your life doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. It’s about finding pieces that resonate with you and making them a part of your everyday experience. Whether it’s through big statements or small touches, wearable pieces or everyday items, art has the power to transform and enrich our lives.
